该片由布莱恩·威尔许(英剧《逃脱大师》)自编自导，故事背景设置在上世纪90年代中期苏格兰的一座小镇，时值“锐舞”文化席卷全英，两个个性迥异的好友度过了一个令他们终身难忘的“锐舞”派对。。In order to escape from her former lover Marc, Sylvia goes to Brazil where Dr. Santamo transforms her into the beautiful Emmanuelle. With this new identity comes a sexual awakening which is complicated by her memories of Marc.
