穆瑙是二○年代最神秘的德国导演，42岁（1931年）时因一场致命的车祸而丧生，许多人不解穆瑙为何坚持要以实景拍摄《吸血鬼》这部影片？为何他坚持要请当时名不见经传的麦斯许瑞克演出吸血鬼？制片艾宾葛劳与女演员葛莉塔许洛德在完成这部片后就在影坛销声匿迹？为何一场小小的版权官司，竟导致这部片在德国的拷贝全数被销毁呢？。Teenaged siblings Girly and Sonny lure young men back to their home to meet the eccentric Mumsy and Nanny. There, the men are forced to take part in strange games, the rules of which are never defined - and if they refuse, or transgress the unwritten rules, they're killed. But they may have met their match in New Friend, their latest victim, who starts to manipulate the foursom...。
